Description

A large established manufacturer based in Birmingham requires an electro plater.

Electro Plating / Anodising Duties:

  • Set and maintain finishing processing equipment and solutions within operational parameters on a plating line.
  • Safely measure out chemicals to the required quantity and safely add to process baths.
  • Lifting jigs to and from the plating baths and the jigging area.
  • Inspect product for defects and conformance.
  • Perform or provide assistance in routine preventative maintenance (including vat clean down).
  • Manual handling (including heavy lifting).

Electro Plating / Anodising requirements:

  • Metal finishing / plating experience.
  • Ability to read and understand health and safety data sheets.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Manual handling experience including heavy lifting.

Electro Plating hours:

  • Hours are 7.00am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 12pm on Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
